Because we use carbon fiber instead of the usual tungsten, these things wake up fast. You aren’t sitting around waiting for them to warm up. Plus, the heat stays steady across the entire length of the tube, so you don’t get those annoying cold spots. Getting the fit right The 14mm size is pretty standard, so they’ll likely slide right into your existing drying racks or curing ovens. The real magic here is how the 1000W output works. Instead of wasting energy heating up the air in the room, the infrared energy goes straight into the material you’re working on. Just a heads-up: if you’re swapping these into an old rig, double-check your brackets. If a 690mm tube sags even a little, you’ll end up with hot spots that can scorch your work. Not a great look. Why carbon fiber? Metal coils tend to give up the ghost pretty quickly under high heat. Carbon fiber is different. It handles the stress much better and doesn’t expand and contract nearly as much as those halogen tubes do. And here is a nice bonus for your team: there’s way less of that blinding glare. It’s easier on the eyes for the operators, while the energy actually gets into the substrate where it belongs. A few things to keep in mind These are basically drop-in replacements for most mid-sized heaters. Just make sure your power source is stable—nobody likes a flickering lamp. Now, while the carbon fiber inside is tough, the quartz envelope is still glass. Be careful during installation. One slip or a stray piece of grit and you’ve got a crack. One last thing: check your cooling fans. You’re pushing 1000W here, and if the air isn’t moving, your sockets might start to melt during a long shift. Keep them cool, and these lamps will treat you right.
