Inside, a carbon filament sits in a quartz tube, and that’s what delivers that deep, penetrating warmth. It’s radiant heat that feels consistent—without blasting the air until it’s stifling.
Technical Deep-Dive
Here’s the thing: it’s packed with power, but it doesn’t take up a lot of room. Most setups run between 2500W and 3000W, and you can plug into either 230V or 400V, depending on what your facility is wired for. The tube itself is usually about 300mm long—short enough to slip into tight panels, but still wide enough to spread the heat evenly. Go with the higher voltage, and you pull less current. That makes wiring simpler and helps you avoid voltage drop, even when the run is a little longer.
Material & Design
We chose a quartz envelope because it can take the heat—powering up and cooling down again and again, without cracking under the stress. The carbon filament puts out a serious amount of far infrared, and the back of the tube has a reflective coating that pushes all that energy forward. Less waste. More where you need it. And the R7s connector? It’s a bi-pin design that makes solid contact and turns lamp swaps into a quick, no-fuss job.

In a sauna, this lamp gets you up to temperature fast, then holds steady. You get that reliable heat profile, session after session. It fits right into standard mounting brackets, and that R7s connection keeps maintenance quick. Now, a heads-up: because it runs hot, you need to plan for airflow or some heat sinking around the lamp. That keeps nearby parts from getting cooked and keeps the control electronics in their safe zone.
