To keep everything safe, we wrap those filaments in high-purity quartz or ceramic sleeves. If your shop is humid or you’re dealing with harsh chemicals, let us know. We can add special coatings so the sleeves don’t crack when the temperature swings wildly. Plus, we can handle the terminations however you want, so they just slide right into your existing gear without a fight.
Making it work in the real world
These heaters are workhorses. We usually see them in PET blowing, curing lines, or drying setups. The best part? They take up way less space than those massive forced-air ovens. But there’s a trade-off. Because they’re so dense, the housing around them gets hot. Fast. You’ll want to be smart about your cooling fans and heat sinks. If you don’t manage the airflow on the machine side, you risk frying your control electronics. We build these to take a beating in a loud, messy factory, but you’ve got to keep the “brains” of the operation cool.
