We built these carbon fiber quartz heating tubes for one reason: when your work needs heat, and it needs it fast. These halogen-powered tubes blast out focused infrared energy, all packed into a tough little package that can handle round-the-clock production without breaking a sweat.
The Specs, Straight Up
Here’s the heart of it: these tubes run on 400V and crank out 2500W of power. All of that fits into a 300mm tube. What does that mean for you? It means you get serious heat concentrated right where you need it, perfect for machines that run on a tight, fast cycle. Going with 400V also has a nice side benefit. It lets you use smaller wiring on the machine itself. Just keep in mind—your control gear and insulation need to be rated for that higher voltage.
Built to Take the Heat
We wrapped the quartz envelope in carbon fiber. Why? Because it makes the whole thing way stronger and able to handle those sudden temperature swings without cracking. Inside, the halogen cycle keeps the filament stable, so the output stays consistent over time. No more fading power. And the R7s base? It’s a simple, two-ended design that just drops right in. You get a solid connection that stays put, and when it’s time to swap a tube, you can do it in minutes without rewiring the whole setup.
Where It Shines (And What to Watch For)
You wire these in wherever you need heat that’s fast and clean—plastic processing, curing coatings, forming components. The carbon fiber build means the tube can take a beating from vibration and constant heating and cooling. But here’s the trade-off: that intense heat density means you have to get the cooling right. You need a properly sized cooling path and solid thermal management around the target area. When you nail the reflector and airflow, that’s when things click. You get temperature control you can count on, hour after hour, with no surprises.
