OEM Carbon Fiber Halogen Heat Lamps: Pure Heat, Built for the Grind
Let’s get straight to it. We built this OEM carbon fiber heat lamp for one reason: to give industrial heating tasks the kind of fast, focused heat that gets the job done—without taking up a ton of space. This isn’t your average, all-purpose heater. It’s a high-intensity thermal tool, designed to slide right into the machines that run hot and fast.
The Power Behind the Heat
At the heart of this unit is a 300mm tube packing a serious punch: 2500W, typically running on a 400V supply. That kind of power density means you get a massive amount of heat from a short length. So you can pinpoint the thermal energy exactly where your process needs it most. We went with the 400V rating for a reason. It lowers the current for that wattage, which keeps the wiring and connections inside your control panels from getting overwhelmed. It also cuts down on energy lost in the wires themselves. The compact 300mm length is a huge advantage for fitting into tight heating zones, but it also means the heat is intense in that small area. So treat this lamp with the respect it deserves—it’s a serious heat source, not a gentle accessory.
The Design That Takes the Beating
Inside the quartz envelope, we use a halogen cycle. This keeps the output stable and helps the filament last a long time. And the carbon fiber filament? It’s built to handle the constant on-and-off cycling and the vibrations that come with industrial machinery. It’s tougher than a standard coil. We also added a reflective coating to the lamp. This directs more of the infrared energy forward, so more of it hits the target and less heat is wasted. For the connections, we chose an R7s base. It gives you a secure, aligned mount and a solid electrical contact. That matters when the lamp gets scorching hot and the terminals expand and contract. With the R7s base, it’s a simple, drop-in replacement for many industrial fittings.
Built for the Jobs That Demand Speed
This whole setup is engineered for processes that need a rapid temperature rise and the ability to hold a stable, high heat. Think plastic heating, curing, drying—any machine-integrated heating task that can’t afford to wait. The shortwave infrared output means you get to temperature fast. And thanks to that coated, reflective design, you’re hitting your target with way less wasted energy. We designed this lamp for OEM integration, so it fits neatly into existing assemblies and can be swapped out quickly on the line. But here’s the trade-off: with 2500W of power packed into that small space, you need to plan for proper cooling and shielding. Make sure you’ve got the airflow and guarding set up right around the lamp.
