Power That Fits the Space
Here’s the thing about these carbon heater elements: they’re built to work hard, fast, and in tight spaces. We set them up for serious industrial heating, with a 400V, 2500W setup that packs a real punch. And it all fits neatly inside a compact 300mm quartz tube. Why 400V? Because it slides right into higher-voltage control circuits. That means less strain on your wiring and contactors. Less current draw, less hassle. As for the 300mm length, we didn’t just guess. It’s the sweet spot. Enough radiant surface to hit your target zone, without making you rework the whole machine.
The Secret Inside
The heart of it is a carbon filament, but we run it in a halogen-filled environment. That chemical cycle keeps the filament clean, so it doesn’t blacken over time. The output stays steady, right through the element’s life. The quartz tube? It takes thermal shock in stride and stays crystal clear for infrared. For installation, we use an R7s base. It locks in tight and keeps the high-current connection solid. It’s a straight drop-in replacement for standard fixtures. No fuss, no re-engineering.
Built for the Real Work
These elements shine in applications like PET blowing, where you need heat that responds instantly and stays focused. The infrared output hits the preform surface directly, not the air around it. So you get rapid ramp-up and temperature control you can count on, every time. But there’s a trade-off: that much power in a small space means heat density. So you’ve got to keep the machine cool. Manage the ambient temperature, and the element will take the heat without giving up early.
